Privacy policy
Overview
1001apps is an AI app platform for trades, field service, and small shops. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, the App Store and App Remix, and any app you run on the platform.
We keep this short and plain on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at founders@1001apps.ai and a real person will answer.
Information we collect
Account information you give us when you sign up — your name, work email, company name, and the trade you're in. If you pay for a plan, our payment processor handles your card details; we only see the last four digits and the billing status.
Usage data about how you use the platform — which apps you open, the prompts you run, error logs, device and browser type, and rough location from your IP address. We use this to keep things running and to figure out what to build next.
Content you connect through integrations — the emails, invoices, customer records, reviews, and job details that flow in from tools like QuickBooks, Gmail, Jobber, Housecall Pro, and Stripe so your apps can actually do their work.
How we use it
We use your information to run the apps you ask for, keep your account secure, answer your questions, send service notices, and bill you correctly. We also use aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve the platform and ship better Playbooks for your industry.
We do not use the content from your connected tools to train general-purpose AI models. Your invoices, emails, and customer data stay yours.
Data from your connected tools
When you link an integration, you decide what an app can read and write, and you grant access through that tool's own permission screen. We request the narrowest scope an app needs to do its job.
You can disconnect any integration at any time from your workspace settings. Disconnecting stops new data from flowing in; data already processed is handled under the retention rules below.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Most of this lives in your account settings, and the rest you can request by emailing founders@1001apps.ai.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or the CCPA — including the right to object to certain processing or to lodge a complaint with a regulator. We honor those requests regardless of where you're based.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, limit internal access to the people who need it, and review our systems regularly. No system is perfectly secure, so we also work to detect and respond to issues quickly.
If a breach ever affects your data, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities within the timelines the law requires.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for a short period afterward so you can reactivate without losing your work. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within 90 days, except where we're required to keep records for tax, accounting, or legal reasons.
Children
1001apps is built for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy as the product and the law evolve. When we make a meaningful change, we'll revise the date at the top and, for significant updates, notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
